introduction

This portfolio provides an insight into my education and development as a pre-service teacher. It is a reflection on the education that I obtained throughout my master’s program that provides me with the confidence and skillset that I will need as an educator in the classroom. The contents are demonstrative of the development that I have undertaken in not only learning about, but applying the theory of constructivism within the classroom.

This portfolio consists of artifacts, tied to specific InTASC standards that I feel best represent my comprehension and methodology. These artifacts contain content based on a multitude of sources. While many artifacts have their basis in the theories and strategies taught within my graduate courses I also draw on my knowledge and experiences obtained while earning previous degrees (Environmental Science, B.S.; Information Systems Management) as well as my years as a small business owner.

This portfolio continues to evolve as I grow in my knowledge and experience and will change dynamically as I continue to hone my pedagogical approach.
